Smiling Awareness Meditation
This community offers meditative training principles described in the earliest Buddhist texts. He called it harmonious endeavor or traditionally known as "right effort", This is the key to unlocking the Buddha´s path to awakening— the extra ordinary eight fold way.
This forumla can be applied to a wide range of meditations including with the breath and on sensations. In his talks, the Buddha taught how this approach is harmonious in all circumstances and how it influences the Human nervous system to decondition the root causes of anxiety, fear, and stress. These are the triggers to unhappiness and suffering. The end goal is mental clarity, emotional balance, and contentment in every moment of our lives.
Accelerated and Introductory Accelerated group practice is specifically formatted for those experienced in deep meditative equanimity and extended practice times. See the Six Rs page for more information.
Introductory classes are scheduled in the North Bay at various locations in Marin and Sonoma counties. A trained instructor offers a proven protocol for meditating that is results driven with clearer instruction in terms that is easy to follow. It includes explanations about how we unconsciously create most of our unhappiness thought unconscious habitual reaction to the world around us. The method teach how to decondition reactive habitual patterns by applying specific skills to be developed in practice. The result is a transformation to active conscious responsiveness. It can only be developed with a clear mind that provides a lens for insight into it true nature our egocentric untrained mind. Practice brings about an evolution of consciousn awareness that inhabits each moment. Though clear understanding and direct knowledge, conflict and turmoil dissolve resulting in contentment and well being in life. Instruction and guidance is available with one-on-one coaching and group instruction. One-on-one is tailored for individuals or affinity groups and meditation communities with specific interests in meditative theory and skill development. The Six Rs
